King Seong of Baekje moved the
capital to Sabi (present Buyeo)
in the spring of 538. The Sabi Castle
Town was a planned city that was
divided into 5 bus(center, east,
west, south and north bu areas)
including king's palace, government
offices, residental areas and temples
in the town. According to Baekje-jeon,
Juseo (Baekje part in the history
book of China), it said there were
numerous temples and pagodas in
the Sabi Castle Town.The Jeongnimsa
temple was not only the hub of temples
in Sabi era, but also the center
of the town geographically which
was surrounded by outer walls.
